Writing fast

I just finished the first draft of Book II for the Cold Springs series! Just making a final pass before I send it off to my editor.

If anyone had ever said I'd be writing this kind of hero, I would have told them they were crazy.  But here it is, and I can't tell you what I'm referring to...I ruin the surprise!

This is my current favorite place to be

So I've taken a break from promotion for the next two days to catch my breath from the release of Second Chance:

I've started reading a lot.  I finished quite a few online articles that I hadn't gotten to, listened to an uncountable number of podcasts, all to do with writing and reading, and I'm also loving this book:

What are you all doing?  How are you spending your summer?  Got any good books to share???

Parkinson's didn't stop a day with my dad

Thank you!

Thank you for downloading Second Chance on it's launch date yesterday.  Your support means so much to me!  Needless to say, I'm tired.  All this promotion is hard, guys!  You wonder if anyone will see your new book then you worry that everyone will hate it, or maybe love it and want more. worry that the muse gods will not bless you with new words on the page.  It never ends.

Anyway...I'm going to rest today.  Well, go and enjoy myself anyway.  I'm headed out to the Jefferson County Fair to relax, listen to music or shows, whatever we find, eat fried dough with lots of powdered sugar.

Thanks again everyone!  You guys are the best!

Second Chances is out tomorrow!
